Hey, I’m in the market for a sub $1500, 2-in-1 laptop/tablet that can replace both my old iPad Air and old dinosaur of a laptop. I want something light, with good battery life, good RAM(16GB?) and that will last a good few years. Im a teacher so as for capabilities, really it’s just your usual surfing the web, word processing, maybe some creative endeavours like editing short movies and podcasts. I’d also be using it for streaming on a daily basis. I’ve got no idea where to start as I’m not a tech person. I’d prefer PC and windows as that’s what I’m used to but could be sold on a Mac if it’s really a clear winner. Any assistance would be hugely appreciated!

Op should also consider if there is any teacher specific apps or programs that may be windows or Mac specific.
Considering kids these days generally use iPads it might already be sorted though I guess
Nah, there’s nothing specific I need. The kids I teach use laptops far more than iPads.
Spro 7 and a keyboard you can easily get for about 1k
Spro 9 is 1500 for middle tier, and keyboard will be about 200 if you can stretch budget
