  • Thanks mate, from buying until tracked it took about a minute.

  • Hopefully will stack with the $5 off $50 I have there also

Edit: confirmed it did, Bunnings $100 for $78.50 is a great outcome

    • Which one is that $5 off $50

      • The one from 1st Jan which ends today.
Like myself, most folks would have already stacked that one with the $10 cashback on $75 SB Super Swap GC.

          Yes same here,

  • 132 rewards redeemed so far. Viewing after purchase.

Will most likely be gone in the morning, with folks bitching and moaning that they missed out.

  • When trying to view purchase

“This website is under heavy load (queue full)

We're sorry, too many people are accessing this website at the same time. We're working on this problem. Please try again later.”

  • Yay

  • Just got mine and already tracked.
Going to buy a weed mat so needed.

    • Going to buy a weed mat so needed.

I need a few of those weed mats as I am going to double them up this time.
Some weeds still poke through even after lots of spraying.

      • Are weed mats bang for buck compared to spraying with vinegar?

        • Are weed mats bang for buck

Yes, if you lay them out correctly with enough mulch on top.

          spraying with vinegar

Does not matter what you spray, weeds will keep on coming because they are weeds.

Cardboard will do the same job.

Darn it. I forgot to click "Start" so I bought a second $100

Wow I can’t believe you can only use it once and that you can get change in cash up to 9.95. What archaic gift card system is this?

    • Just get 5x 20 gift cards.

    • There was one time when I used a $100 GC to buy 2 items of $50 each, the staff only scanned 1 item (mistakenly) and gave me a physical GC of $50 as my change. When I told her of the mistake she then scanned the 2nd item which I then paid using the physical GC. But through this, I learned that if your change is in excess of $9.95, you still do get your change but in the form of physical GC, you cannot ask for cash.

Seems reasonable since you can’t cash out other store’s GC anyway, so don’t expect Bunnings to give cash out of significant amount.

      • Not cash but the balance normally remains on the card. But new cards with new expiry dates is OK with me.

The last time I had used a $100 Bunnings GC, the staff provided me my change in cash which I found strange.

        • Sounds good way to cashout GC tbh

          • @DrScavenger: Not really. As explained above, you can only get up to $9.95 in cash change. The rest is made up of smaller denomination GCs.

            • @lomie: Get in 20$ denominations and buy 10$ stuff

            • @lomie: I had made a purchase at Bunnings that cost me around $20 and I was provided with $80 cash in change. I'm assuming the staff member didn't know what they were doing as the change should've been given has gift cards.

Ohhh I was wondering why they gave me a bunch of gift cards on a $30 purchase. I think I prefer the physical GCs I can add to a wallet

  • Ends midnight tonight.

    Thanks op

  • Thanks OP, got it with 15 left

  • 13 left!!

  • All gone =(

  • Damn, I thought opting in claimed a spot and was going to actually buy the card later.

    • +2

I learnt this mistake from the ikea gc a week ago, so now I just buy first and think later.

  • +2

It says 1078 participants n 800 claimed. Does it mean all rewards are claimed so I can't get 15$ bonus even though I "started" ?

    That's so quick.

    • +1

Need to have click start to participate and then make the purchase. It doesn’t hold the spot for you.

      • Oh I see, thank you :).

Bunnings giftcards are weird, someone gifted me a $50 and the local told me I couldn't buy a latte as the cafe didnt have enough GC's to replace it.
How hard is it to make the balance adjustable like 99% of stores.
