Amazing price. Have one. It is great!

    • I find range on the wireless is worse then a friend's cheap set, last set battery died at 2 years and jb replaced with the extended warranty the cute girl sold me 😂. All in all good headset but not the best. At this price pretty good.

I mean I got her number and took her out afew times so ya know…

        • A fair trade for the chad card

      • I'm interested in what you think is better. I've been using this for years and love it, I have several other headphones I don't even use including ($350) Bose QC35 with an addon boom mic ($50) https://www.headsetbuddy.com/cm3505-clearmic-noise-cancellin… that just pales in comparison to this mic, and the sound isn't even 'that much better', given that QC35 is crippled by using Bluetooth whereas these have a dedicated 2.4ghz dongle

  • Is this better than the Pulse for PS5? does it connect wirelessly too?

    • +2

Works fine with PS5 via the included usb dongle (just plug it into one of the PS5's USB ports).

Sound quality wise, I've tried both and think the Corsair sounds better. Personal opinion though!

    • It ONLY does wireless. There's no ability to pair it via bluetooth or use a cable. It does have a USB cable but it's solely for charging (which can be done while using it, albeit with some interferance from the power source which other people will hear from the mic. Having said that, other than that one restriction the headset is bulletproof. It's my daily driver and I've never had issues with it.

Things to be aware of that aren't dealbreakers for me:

      • charging as mentioned, the battery lasts ages however
      • the volume dial is on the back of the left ear, so you may bump it if you rest your head on a chair or pillow
      • the dongle is quite long, so for example leaving it plugged into a laptop while putting the lappy in a bag isn't possible to do safely
      • it gets a bit hot on the ears after a few hours on a warm day
      • sound quality is fantastic
      • mic is second to none, amazing voice quality for the other party, and it's removable in case you want to leave the house and not look like a dork
      • I was meant to say does it connect wired too but thanks for the feedback. Managed to price match one at jb hifi just before good guys pulled it out! very lucky!

  • Can't find anywhere that says it, but these won't work with Xbox?

    Everything says PC & PS4

    • +1

There seems to be very few wireless headsets that work with Xbox. I think it's a proprietary protocol thing. At the very least, if it's wireless with PlayStation, it won't be wireless with Xbox and vice versa. I think you'll be hard pressed to find a headset that's wireless with both.

These have good, but not brilliant sound quality.

What I like about them, though, is that my pair lasted for three years being worn almost every single day. Normally a set of Logitech/Razor headphones last me only a year or so before either the battery dies or something snaps; but these ones are really tough.

    • I’m thinking about buying these to upgrade from my HyperX flights I’ve had for three years now the battery is kinda bad on them these days and they are completely worn out

Thanks. Price matched at JB Hifi and bought one.

Corsair probably has the worst sound quality imo.

    • So you have compared it against all other options?

      • Yeah literally all the other options… ive tried them all mate thats the only way anyone can have an opinion

    • I have the HS50 (wired) and it sounds amazing I actually use it to listen to music on my phone using USB-C dongle… I can't vouch for the HS70 as it uses 2.4ghz wireless.

      Check RTINGS reviews.

  • been looking out for an NC wireless headphone with a mic stick for a better experience on zoom calls. sorted cheers

No one buy it, I still need to get JB to price match :P

    • Price matched and bought. Thanks OP!

      • dumb question maybe but can this only be done instore? my locals have no stock and my 'local' TGG is a bit out of the way

        • I did it online via chat. They send you a cart link with product added at the discounted price. Simply pay and collect.

    • Too bad can't use the $10 JB perks anymore :(

  • Have this headphone for almost 4 yrs now and the only thing I need to change was the cushion. The other thing is I'm starting to get this sudden burst of noise intermittently while watching a movie or on Youtube. .

No stock in Sydney? I live in Ryde and the store selector is asking me to take a short trip up to Kotara (Newcastle)

    • That’s where I just picked mine up from not sure how many they have left

      • haha you may have taken the last one, error message now pops up for me 'no stock within 500KM'

    • Price match it at JB Hifi. They have plenty of stock

      • Only if they don't check the stock levels in nearby stores

Had mine for a few years and they've taken a beating. Occasional hear a crackle or two out of them, and the faux leather is peeling a lot but very happy with them.

  • I've had these for two years now, the battery barely lasts for 45 mins before requiring to be plugged in.

    • Sounds like something unusual went wrong, I've had mine that long and use them every day and still get about 5-6 hours from a charge.
