I've had this since September last year. Been loving it and couldn't go back to my previous 27" FHD.

    • Any gaming on it?

      • +5

Yeah daily gaming use. The super wide FOV is great and I haven't experienced any lag, stuttering etc.
Probably using it under it's capability right now: Ryzen 5600X, 3070Ti.

        • Ah yeah nice

yea, I've been using it 2 years now, it's great for the price, no complaint at all.

Thanks for that. It was just a question (no need to neg me)

        • How dare you

  • What's a good 4K60 monitor for PS5, under $500?

Had one since mid late 2020. (For cheaper than this, weird what the price has done on this product).
Fantastic monitor overall, great for the extra FOV in games and for watching movies, as they are all done in this aspect ratio.

I hope they come out with a "Xiaomi Monitor 2" at some point and match the same great value this had on its original release (I mean this is still good, but lots of others have come out since that are good too).
Though I guess most of the big upgrades are still in the category of making it too expensive, not gonna get OLED or any good HDR. Best we could hope for any time remotely soon is ultrawide 4k with 120/144hz. Which would be pretty nice, but not massively impressive.

Isn’t the general consensus on this is that it’s old tech compared to the dell options available for not really a lot more time to time.

    • Yeah I’m wondering if I should keep waiting for a Dell sale to get their 34icnh option, or just get this one. Got new PC coming next week so wondering if it’s worth the wait.

"old tech", compared to what? If using this as a work monitor, I feel like other "tech" is redundant. Perhaps for gamers it would be relevant.

And also this is still the cheapest compared to any others. So if you pay more for a competitor and just use this for work, I'm not sure you would see any difference.

  • Is anyone able to provide advice on whether this works well with Macs? And if there is a better alternative for a similar price? I have 2 old Thunderbolt Apple 27" Cinema displays that i just don't use and wouldn't mind just getting 1 screen.

I have a m1 air and works fine.

  • The Dell goes below this price every other month for a much better/faster panel. Even the 165Hz Kogan has been down at this price before for the best panel in this class, but most scoff at Kogan.

This monitor is not good value unless it's below $400 shipped.

Oh wow, you really showed your hand when you recommended Kogan JUNK monitors.

Anyway, I think this remains a good buy. Each to their own.

  • Wondering when this deal will be back , waiting to buy one for myself
