    But ps5 version is 30fps not 60hz

pft, hard pass if that's the case

It's rock solid 30 stable frame-rate so you won't even notice after half an hour. Don't miss out on a fantastic experience and one of the best games ever made.

What are the naming conventions here? This is definitely a PS4 game that happens to run on ps5 through backwards compatibility, should ps5 really be in the title?

Fair point. I've removed the PS5 from the title.

  • Kids were going to buy this from Microsoft online, basically the same price but digital. Any differences between digital and disk version. I’m more old school and prefer disks. Have Xbox series x so has disk drive.

TBH the main differences these days is if you have disc you have some resell value (probably not worth it for this), you have to physically put the disc in everytime you want to play despite the majority of the game being saved to your console hard drive. When you have digital obviously you have to wait for it to download initially which if you have slow internet is painful. I usually get disc but slowly going towards digital as they have decent sales now and its more convinient being digital.

      • Thanks you make some good observations. Thinking it is time I move with the times. So generally content of the same across digital and disk?

If you care about preservation, physical will usually be the original release version of a game, whereas with digital you are only ever able to download the latest version of a game release. An example of when people might care about this beyond preservation sake is when the release version of a game has a glitch or something you can exploit to duplicate items in game or something else you might want to do which has since been patched out in future versions of the title.

Also don't forget that with digital there is always a chance that your account could get banned for some reason, or worse yet the storefront could cease operations like the Wii shop and also what Sony was going to do with the Vita and PS3 stores, and in either of those cases you would have lost every single game you had bought. With physical you can always just slap the disc/cartridge in and play regardless of digital infrastructure.

  • I have the PC version and this is one of the most addictive games I am currently and have ever played. They really nailed it when it when it comes to immersion - besides the storyline’s and characters there is still ‘wow’ moments and just riding into the sunset and mists is a visual experience in itself.

It can be slow sometimes but the developers have random events happen just at the right time for it to pick up again.
