Important information about the PlayStation Plus Collection

The PlayStation Plus Collection is closing
From 9 May the PlayStation®Plus Collection will no longer be available as a PlayStation Plus benefit. You can add any of the titles from the PlayStation Plus Collection to your Game Library before 9 May and play at any time in the future with an active PlayStation Plus membership.

PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue, Monthly Games and other existing benefits will not be affected by this change.

Thank you for your continued support of PlayStation Plus.

    To be clear, this is the 19 game collection offered for new PS5 owners in 2020.

    If you had added these to your library already, you keep them as long as subscribed to PS+.

    I've got a PS5 but haven't added these. Do you need a PS+ subscription to add and play?

      Yes you do. A one-month subscription to add to library is sufficient. You get access again when resubscribing as they're in your account library.

      yep, it's the ps plus collection, so I'm pretty sure you need an active ps plus subscription to add them, and an active ps plus subscription to play them

      Yes, simply add them to your library if you currently have an active PS+ subscription and they'll always remain in your library aslong as you have PS+

    PS5->PlayStation Store->Collections->Scroll Down to 'The PS Plus Collection'->Scroll to the Right to 'View All'->Take all 19 games.

        Yes, if by the phone app you mean directly on your PS5.

    All the games seem to be available on the PSN+ subscription anyway. The only difference is the Collection is permanent, with or without the sub.

      You still need to have a PS+ sub to play the PS Collection titles.

    Can I get one month of PS+ essential add the collection & the monthly games (through the app). Let me subscription lapse then when I get a PS5 renew and I will have all the games?

      AFAIK once you add them to your library they will stay there.
      Even if you cease the sub and then renew again in the future.
