Best Place to Get Wagyu Steaks in Sydney?

Hey all,

Looking to buy a few kg of wagyu steaks in Sydney. Bought from Vic meats but are there better value butchers in Sydney for wagyu?

  Osawa beef for authentic japanese A5 wagyu.

    +1 for Osawa (located in Strathfield South). They sell both Aussie and Japanese Wagyu. Never had any issues with my deliveries from them.

  i get mine shipped from japan. i put in a big order with fellow mates and share the cost of shipping. if you just need 1 steak every now and then, just go to your local butcher.

    Oh did not know this was an option. Can you give me some info on how to go about this? Would this be much cheaper than buying from osawa for example?

  What cuts and score do you seek out usually?

  Wesfresh in Blacktown
  They do usually bulk and can slice on site, ie 4-5 score rump cap for $30/kg but min order is around 7kg

  Costco would be the other option but i'm less aware of their offerings and pricing

    Looking for like 8-9 scotch fillet is the one I was going to buy from vicmeats
