Just wondering if anyone can comment on using shopback app to get eBay related cashback when you have the mobile phone app?
Others like Amazon open up in the shopback app so tracked purchases are easy. eBay online shopping automatically diverts you to the eBay app as its installed on my phone.
Short of deleting the app off my.mobile, does anyone know if this still track shopback for you given it opens eBay directly in its own app rather than the shopback app browser?
to be honest always try to stick to a browser wherever possible. Apps have a higher rate of not tracking (for me). But that being said for SB you really need app to buy gift cards, and activate challenges so have to keep that app for that reason (which works flawlessly).
But to use either cashback companies apps (as a browser) is usually a failure more often than not for me. So stick to browser.

It may or it may not, you wanna gamble go ahead. otherwise if you wanna play safe use browser.

Not sure if I understand your question. You need both apps because the shopback app actually passes the tracking token to the ebay app for it to recognise the cashback. Opening ebay app directly won’t give you cashback.
With Amazon the shopback app opens Amazon in the browser within the shopback app. So I always feel safer that it's tracking. However with eBay when you click he online store then click to shop it takes you to the android app installed on the phone. So I was just worried that it's not tracking as your now on the eBay app than within shopback.
Will it give you any confidence that it tracks 100% of the time for me?

Yep
I actually prefer using the SB app, and have it re-direct to ebay app.
Feel like less chance an ad-blocker or some other glitch will stuff the transaction.
