Buying IKEA Gift Card from ShopBack

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has experience with purchasing gift cards for IKEA from Shopback?

I bought two gift cards, but neither seem to be working on the IKEA website. Previously a few months back, I had no problems — wondering if there's something I'm missing?

I've raised a ticket through their chatbot and sent a DM to their rep here, but just wondering if anyone else has any experience.

    IKEA gift cards can take up to 48 hours to activate. I bought a few a month ago and they took roughly 24 houra to activate. You can test them online on IKEA's gift card balance checker

      Yep, was gonna mention that too. It's annoying as I don't plan that far in advance when I might go to IKEA. I wish I could just buy them and use them while i'm in the store. Don't wanna pre-buy cards I may not use either.

    I got mine from API/Reward Gateway and AGL rewards. The Ikea gift cards are instant. Hard to pre-plan Shopback one. In the past they even can only be used after 3-4 days, not just 48 hours
