Which budget ones came out on top? I don't have a subscription, hence the question.
Pretty cheap, but note that it's only 4l. This may seem like a lot but trust me, it's tiny.
If you're single it's fine, for a larger family you might want to look at something larger.
These one have even smaller basket than kmart one. And require more constant shaking/turning of the food. It is definitely not some high quality stuff. Even kmart one is better than this
I have a 5.5L and imo 4L is too small even for 1 person.
It's really about the surface area, not volume though
I just measured my airfryer. it's 25cm wide, and the inner basket is 21cm (It's square, so the area is 441cm^2)
This is 32cm wide, so im estimating the inner basket is 28cm diameter. (it's circle, so the area is 615cm^2)
Ok, i change my mind, potentially more surface area.
Anyone can comment on the quality of these?
Have had this exact one for about 8 months and am very happy with it.
Small bit of the black coating has flaked off the inner plate. Maybe due to unnecessary scrubbing.
As others have stated, it is small but for 2 people it's perfect.
Also have a Philips one and can say that this is just as good. I may think differently after a few years though.The plastic coating is in no way non-stick but the unit works well.
Get a stainless steel tray for the bottom or a bunch of those non-stick paper liners from allibay.
(sorry, meant for post above)My kmart one is still working fine after 3 years of use. The coating has flaked off and thats why wanted to change.
The coating coming off and mixing with the food, isn’t that dangerous?

First time “Air Fryer”, bought it on the way home after seeing this post. Perfect size for 2 people. We wanted one that we could take away in the caravan. It has a nice small footprint and we tested some chicken tenders in it and it worked perfectly. Cheers for the find!
