I know someone who ordered a Toto Washlet (6623 + Toto rimless toilet = $2,200) when they were discounted last December, but it may be that you can always get a deal. I understand W Hotel Melbourne has a Toto Washlet (higher model) in every bathroom
What do you mean by smart toilet? Do you just mean electric bidet?

Thought a toilet is already simple enough. Release and flush.
Unless it reducing the number of steps or the mental strain, otherwise it’s only a smart move for manufacturer to increase profit.
I've had a couple of bidets over the years and I would say this has been the best so far. I refuse to pay over $400 for one and I got this one for $250 during the recent sales.
@Ryanek thanks mate. Any issues with short circuiting or any other faults? Heard Xiaomi ones had few short circuit issues.
Just a note on bidets and quality.
I bought a Korean Branded izen bidet from a deal posted on ozb.
At $540 on sale you'd expect reasonable quality.
The remote started malfunctioning and it died within 2 months. After heaps of back and forth I got a replacement. That lasted 9 months before the remote died, making the seat basically dumb.
I guess other than Toto level models there isn't any difference between brands.
Are they for smart arses?
