Boost to Telstra

I am currently on Boost and wanted to sign up for the S23 Ultra TGG Telstra deal.

I am getting mixed feedback from threads here and on whirlpool.

Options:

  1. Port into Optus/Vodafone for a day, then port back into Telstra. This however won't satisfy the 30 day condition and therefore I could lose all the bonuses according to their T&Cs.
  2. Sign up for a new number with Telstra, then try to switch the new plan under my old Boost number. I read about changing FNN, but don't know if this works in a Boost-Telstra scenario.

Any guidance will be much appreciated!

      New number is easier, no even wait a month then move your current phonebnumber with Belong onto one of Telstras cheapest prepaid plans, then chat with Telstra ask them to move the prepaid plan number (your original number) to your Jbhifi plan and your prepaid plan will be cancelled in the process

    Keep in mind, after 24 months, if you want to sign up to another tgg/jb Telstra deal you will be ineligible, and back in the same position you are in now. The strategy I use is to sign up to the contract deals using new numbers so I dont have to worry about eligibility, and keep my main number on a cheap “calls only” prepaid

    Is the TGG for new Telstra customers only? I moved from Telstra to boost to Telstra to boost and each time been a new customer (sim only plans tho)

    Hmm so does this flag you as suspicious with the provider??

    I actually did this once, just to try another provider but the reception was so bad I ported back to my original provider straight away. Maybe I am missing out on bonus offers.
