My laptop's DVD burner is not working and I am thinking of buying a USB external DVD burner. Does anyone has experience using one and would give me some recommendation? Thanks in advance.
Works fine given i don't use it that much….I'd recommend the USB devices as many new laptops don't come with dvd drives and you can keep the weight of the laptop down without it.
I have a fujitsi USB dvd burner…runs off two usb ports for the power…I think I paid $55 for it about a year ago. Appears you can get them for about $40-$50 now (http://www.getprice.com.au/Fujitsu-External-USB-DVD-Burner-G…)
