I picked up the recent deal on the LG G2 with the LG SN4 soundbar. But I'm having troubles understanding the best sound setup as the manuals are not very detailed.
What I want is for both the TV speakers and the SN4 set to both work together with synchronized volume on one (magic) remote.
The one way I've been able to make this work is when the SN4 is connected by Bluetooth. But doing so will disable (for no clear reason) most of the game optimization settings. I also have to set manual artificial delays to make sure the TV speakers and SN4 are synchronized, so not great.
The other option, which I'm using now, is TV speaker + optical out. This seems to be the best sound quality but this doesn't want to synchronize the volume between the two. So I have to keep manually adjusting the volume independently on both the soundbar and TV.
HDMI Arc won't allow me to turn on the TV speakers at the same time, it's internal or external but not both.
Any ideas please?

Why do you want sound from both simultaneously? It will sound worse, not better.
