Accountant Recommendation to Manage Multiple Trusts

Does anyone have a good accountant that doesn't charge thousands to manage multiple living trusts under a single corporate entity and help advise tax/loan brokerage for real estate holdings for each one?

  • I know a good accountant that also gives great advice, but because they are good, they charge thousands. Sorry.

  • Where are you? A local accountant is generally best, if possible.

    • An accountant without dual citizenship is ideal; less chance of them skipping the country after committing fraud. So look for one with all Australian grandparents.

    • Based in two cities, Sydney and Brisbane so a bit hard to stick to a local, the one I have atm is just mainly for personal tax and sole trading so wanting to look for one that specialises more in handling simpler trust accounts with holdings and loans

  • An accountant who doesn’t charge $1000s is one that spends no time at all doing any work on your trusts. I’m sure you can research all the information you need

    • Also you need a degree to be an actual accountant. You don't spend years of your life paying for and earning an accounting degree just to give away your skills and knowledge for a few hundred bucks.
