Putting Together a New PC Build, but Just Saw a Pretty Good Deal on BPC Tech - What's Better?

My build

The ITX build I've put together is here: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/XWqGZw

Adding a Cooler Master MasterBox NR200P MAX from PcByte brings the total build to $1664 (partpicker can't find the 200p max for some reason)

The BPC Tech build

Any recs here? Seems like I've wasted my time trying to put something together to beat this!

    If you're asking if a 12700 + RTX 3070 is better than a 12400F + RX 6700 (non-XT) then… yes.

    Where's your CPU cooler?

Spending half your PC budget on a $500 case doesn't seem like a wise choice either…

NR200P Max comes with a preinstalled cpu cooler, power supply and of course a case. Building sff definitely costs a bit more

That makes a ton more sense, thanks.

        • Yeah went for a slightly lazy option, a good ITX case isn't cheap though

And you are right, after sitting here thinking about it I'm definitely investigating that BPC tech build more!

Grab a NR200 instead IMHO. The AIO is just overkilled.

If it is not urgent I would recommend grabbing parts piece by piece when they are on deals.

    • +1. For the 12400F you would be fine with a budget air cooler, which are smaller and would fit easily into the NR200. The only thing would be to hunt down a decently priced SFX power supply.

If you bump up the ram and ssd on the bcp machine it’s going to cost a lot more. That said, I still prefer it

Yeah I think you're right though, even being ~130 more it's still worth it for the CPU+GPU upgrade

You're aware the BPC build is a NUC right?! Would be hard to upgrade should you want to in the future…

    • Only just figured that out the other day, I'm a bit concerned about thermals too
