| wheels - despite their solid build and 0 wobble, they are really sticking out a lot and LOOK like they will snap. Looking at he wheels and latest Qantas baggage video, gives me even less confidence.
I feel Samsonite have dropped in quality. Had an older version of this (X3) and each has issues.. zips came apart and the plastic on the corners came through and in general lost its shape.
Bought the Samsonite octolite and the wheel broke within 2 years and another one came apart in transit.
Ended up buying a July luggage to see if there's any difference.
Not really. The material and construction of Samsonite is good for the money if you get their mid tier products.
Octolite is part of their base range is you can't expect much. Zips are still YKK. Wheels breaking is an inherent flaw of the 4 wall design, nothing specific to samsonite
well..3 out of my 6 bags have the zips break. ranged between the 72hrs to the octolite. ive got now a cosmolite so lets see how long this lasts
