[PC] 50% off - Stardew Valley $8.50 (Was $16.99) @ GOG

910

I believe this price is tied for the historical low. DRM-free!

You've inherited your grandfather's old farm plot in Stardew Valley. Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, you set out to begin your new life. Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home? It won't be easy. Ever since Joja Corporation came to town, the old ways of life have all but disappeared. The community center, once the town's most vibrant hub of activity, now lies in shambles. But the valley seems full of opportunity. With a little dedication, you might just be the one to restore Stardew Valley to greatness!

    Great Game

  • what does DRM free mean

  • +3

This game was such a time sink and so satisfying.

  • yeah good game but I am sticking to steam.

DRM-free means you can share a copy with friends and family for some Co-Op fun

I shared my copy with my little bro. Not going to charge him so we can play together lol.
But yeah, I wouldn’t share it outside my immediate family so maybe scratch the friends part

@FireRunner: Share it to test, then if you play it properly, but it - especially on gog!

          • @FireRunner: I get what you mean-but steam also has remote play together so it can semi-do this.

That's such a weird thing to be calculative about.

      • Hey cous…

Comfiest game in my Steam library

    • I am addicted to watching a particular streamer play SDV. She is so sweet and makes the whole experience so cozy 🥰 definitely the coziest game around.

      • Whats her @?

        • She who shall not be named

    • Have you played Stardew Valley Expanded? It adds a lot more to the game ie new characters, a bigger map, and more challenges. There is also an enormous mod called Ridgeview that I haven't tried yet.

  • +2

Awesome game, lots of mods available too - really extends the game, new NPCs, locations, quests, you name it.

  • I bought this on mobile and now my life is over…

  • Surprised this game has never been free

I have been eyeing out Stardew valley and terraria.

Which one is better? I know that Stardew is more storyline focused and terraria is sandbox but they have similar attributes and I have free Google credit that is burning a hole in my digital pocket.

I havent played stardew however I found terraria quite fun however it does get a bit frustrating in the beginning

    • +1

Both are vastly different games. Try both! Stardew valley feels a bit more casual - both you'll end up surfing the wiki's though.

I tried this game once. I lost track of time in game, stayed up until 2am, and woke up exhausted.

Art imitates life, in this case a bit too closely.
