    Yes, it did used to be $8.00 full price, but it has been $10.70 at Coles & Woolworths for several months. Last half price deal in January was at the higher price.

    Here's the Pricehipster graph.
    This is a good example of a tactic employed by Coles & Woolworths when increasing the price of an item: Make a huge price increase ($8.00 to $12.50), then very shortly afterwards lower the price a little (to $10.70), then brag in the catalogues for ages about "Prices dropped! Was $12.50 now $10.70".

      Yeah I used to often buy Arnott's Vita-Weat on special for $2.50 or less when they were $4.

      Now they have dropped the price and advertised them as a constant saving of $3.50, which I never paid that much before.

  As far as instant coffee goes, this one is an aquired taste, which I have not yet aquired.

  this coffee is terrible

  but its ok as a cheap pick me up for work
