Their furniture is quite overpriced for what but they are, but make some nice pieces . I've found their concrete designs are priced competitively with specialised concrete furniture stores

They give you the hard sell… don't ever fall for it like i did

    • How?

      • +3

They will say sale ends today.. but it now.. only to have another sale the next day

Their "sale" actually good for 365 days a year

        • Ye grubby

        • Partially true.

We got our couch during EOFY and when it ended and went on “sale” again, it was almost $1k more. It’s been staying like that for ages.

It’s good to ask for lowest historical price when buy.

They are permanently on 20-30% sale, its not a limited time thing.

We need specific examples of actual bargains. This is standard advertising.

  • +1

True. They ended a 40% off sale on Jan 30.

    • +1

Was 40% a sitewide too? I missed that.

  • Their outlet is quite good. I bought a couch in almost new condition for less than half the price.

  • What is the actual quality like of the products? Looks good in pictures of course. We're in need of a new lounge suite.

  • I'm being political, but I would never buy a thing from Nick Scali, giving him $1 of my money is too much for me. I don't tend to get too caught up in things but I am not a fan of this guy!! Google Nick Scali and Madafferi and Ruddock.

Be very careful that if you order anything which requires assembly that you make sure they do it for you. I ordered a coffee table which was delivered in a box, the delivery guys put the box inside the front door and left. I wasn't bothered as it was easy to assemble, until I opened the box and found one leg snapped. I immediately called them and sent photos of it still packed in the box and it took weeks for them to agree to replace it with virtually no communication from their end. I like their furniture, but their customer service is atrocious.

    • Similar issue on my end, even though the delivery driver noted the fault - was given the third degree by customer service and am still waiting for resolution (2 weeks)

  • Most of 2021 it was 50% I think

just be careful here with delivery, for a "high end" retailer, they still charge for delivery, and each item has its own delivery fee, they don't bundle delivery

  • Looking at getting the Parc coffee table. Has anyone seen this cheaper than $1390 recently?

  • Always wanted to buy a modern recliner but heard nightmare stories about them and King furniture. Can’t win I guess

Bought our first lounge from King - first and last purchase I’ll ever make with that joke of a company.

There are good discounts if you find something that fits your home. The Dining table we purchased a year is on sale for $300 less.

  • Nick Scary!!

  • 1% credit card surcharge and ridiculous text order confirmation requirement after 15 minutes ordering and paying. Wtf.
IT system 20 th century style.
