Cheapest Long Term Pre-Paid (e.g 180/365 days expiry) plan for a safety pendant alarm for an eldery person

I purchased an Opel Mobile Safety pendant which was half price at JB Hi-Fi (https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/opel-mobile-safety-pendan…). It is for my mother who is blind and limited in mobility and has long term health complications which makes her prone to falls. This device has some nice features including fall detection, SMS and calls alerts etc. The device has WIFI and 4G connection and is unlocked (e.g. I can use any sim cards).

Can anyone recommend cheap and reliable prepaid plans for this sim card? I don't think this device uses much data. Any other tips in relations to this device would be appreciated too.

      Only good if you turn off data otherwise it might burn through your credit.

        Just recharge it with $20 and see how much data it uses. Over a day

          Kind of sounds like a waste of $20 if it runs out in 6 hours or something. Why not just calculate current data use and data charges to see how fast it will use credit?

    $40 vodafone sim (only works with $40> and higher prepaid sims) when on special, select the "365 pay as you go" option, during the online activation process.

    woolworths mobil $65 for 6 months but you get 10% off your groceries once a month so you can effectivly get it for free
