The best all-rounder blend.

We’ve chosen coffee from Brazil and Guatemala to express this earthy colour palate. Coffee that holds tantalising chocolate and nutty flavour notes. Hi Guys its ok quality coffee. I tried it once, but i wont be an returning customer.

Coffee tasted very flat to be honest. I would say if you are Lime Blue or Airjo - Those are better overall beans.

    • +1

good tip, i'm not gonna buy a 1kg bag and get stuck with it for months if it's no good. airjo isn't even that good either so this must be absolute rubbish.

      • +2

Airjo is crap. I’ll get off my high horse shortly but I feel most people here don’t know what a good coffee tastes like.

        • What does good coffee taste like? Just started getting in to coffee via pour over and French press. Been watching James Hoffman but unfortunately cannot taste via YouTube.

          • @fufufu: Lime Blue's Columbia beans are probably the best I've found through OzBargain. Their Brazil blend is also nice and better for milk coffees (Columbia is better black). I highly recommend Lime Blue for an example of decent to good coffee at very affordable prices (with great customer service).

          • @fufufu: or pour over and french press, I can highly recommend our El Nino blend.
Currently composed of high quality Ethiopian washed & Natural process.
All the brew recipes are on our website if you are keen to learn more!

        • Yeah, I got sucked in by the positive comments here and got lumped with 1kg of very average beans. You get what you pay for I guess.

    • I have to disagree with you here.
We use high quality specialty grade Brazilian and Guatemala coffee for this blend.
We achieved the flavour notes of cocoa and nutty with low acidity through selecting the right coffee and roast them just right.
If you look at other "specialty coffee roaster" or "boutique coffee roaster" they mix 4+ origins and roast very dark to achieve "Complex coffee". They are essentially roasting coffee so dark that all the sweetness and acidity are diminished and all you taste are roast characteristics which are chocolate, nutty and bitterness.

Since our Brazil and Guatemala have those flavour notes, we don't need to roast dark to ruin the coffee.

Thank you for purchasing our coffee in the past, and we are sorry that you didn't have a great experience. I'd suggest checking your grinder setting and I'm more than happy to help you to assist you. Please email your details to us!

Disappointed OP has not bothered to respond. Wish I could recall my vote.

  • Their decaf isnt that great compared to Inglewood but the Kings Canyon was a stand out hit in our office even when used with a Gaggia Anima Prestige so ive bought a 500g bag this time.

Have also bought their El Nino blend to try out at home and compare with the S.O from Inglewood (El Salvador Sapphire).

    • Thank you so much!!

  • Just opened my order this past weekend and coffee and I’m happy with the flavour. A little on the darker side than what I normally would go for, but still good for me. I would buy again when on sale.
