Sony WF-C500 Vs Samsung Galaxy Buds 2?

Both these true wireless earbuds are on sale (looking to buy under $150) and I have some trouble deciding which one to choose. If you have any other recommendations that are clearly better than these feel free to shout them out but from my own research these two do seem the best and most reliable.

Both are around the same price after sale. The devices I'll use my earbuds on are an M1 Macbook Air and a Samsung S8 (yes it's ancient now lol but I do planning on upgrading sometime this year). I'm not picky soundwise but I do like a good volume range and bass. I will use these earphones for all sorts of activities like watching TV shows, playing games, playing basketball, going to the gym etc. so I would like them to be moderately sweat resistant, fit well and have good connectivity range. I am also often in loud environments (I know the Galaxy Buds have ANC whereas the Sony ones don't).

However, the most important features I am looking for is:

  1. Battery Life in the buds themselves when fully charged (I think Sony ones have 10 hours and Buds have 7.5 hours but this is only what the manufacturers claim)

  2. Durability: The most important for me. I want to use these earbuds for a long time before replacing them. I don't want them to become noticeably quieter over time and prefer that both sides function well (I don't want want side to be louder than the other).

The Sony earbuds have to be manually disconnected from a device before you can connect them to a second device, so if you are using them on your phone you cannot click connect on the Macbook or any second device they are paired to and have them connect to that.

I returned the Sony for that reason, they sounded great for the price though.
