Description
This is a story of survival in a strange new world. Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Digimon Anime, Digimon Survive presents a brand-new adventure set in a mysterious world with characters designed by Uichi Ukumo, and music by the much-acclaimed Tomoki Miyoshi. Digimon Survive sees a brand-new group of teenagers, led by Takuma Momozuka, get lost on a school camping trip, finding them transported to a strange new world of monsters and danger. As they fight their way back home through an animated world of difficult decisions and deadly battles, players' choices throughout the game will impact the evolution of their monster allies and the final ending. Battles in the game are fought in 2D, in a more classic SRPG style

    I have stopped playing games as much on my switch. I've been leaning towards playing stuff on my PlayStation. I like the portability but the frame rate, loading speeds and fidelity are something I prefer over playing the game on public transport. My switch was played 85 percent portable. Now it's always docked. Just my opinion.

      With Pokémon and Digimon games, I’m not sure if they would be much of a graphics difference between the switch and PlayStation….games like HZD or GOW is would what I would play on the PlayStation.

  I mean you can't argue with the value, but the game imo was a big disappointment.

  I wanted a Digimon strategy RPG, and instead it's a visual novel with a few strategy RPG bits mixed in. The SRPG that you get to play, fleetingly, is really good, so it's such a shame its dragged down by the visual novel aspect.

  Anyway, if you can get past that or potentially get into and even enjoy the visual novel, $20 it's pretty good. I'd be surprised if this didn't run fine even on the base PS4 too.

    This is kinda funny to me, because I bought it because it's a visual novel. I had no interest pre-launch until I found out it was more VN than SRPG.
