RTX 4060 / 4070 Laptop Launch Prices

Looks like we are finally seeing some new laptops with the 4060 and 4070 GPUs.

I have seen some MSI and Gigabyte laptops and I am not a fan of Gigabyte and MSI seem to just be using FHD screens and I think I want better than that.

I'm looking at getting in early to replace an ageing entry level machine, with what would be considered mid-range as long as the early reviews confirm they are worth the step up from the 3000 series variants.

Hoping people will be happy to share links to the laptops they find to start getting a list going?

The US seem to be getting OK prices but this hasn't translated to prices here just yet. I am keen to see what Lenovo do!

I'll start with a few examples:

  • 4070 is not much better than 3070. HP had a 3070ti deal 1800. I just bought a thinkbook 16p 3060 for 1299. byebye 4060 4070. See you 6060 6070.

    • Mate where did you get the 3070ti deal for 1800 from?

      • search this forum.it expired tho

  • How many people can notice the difference, on a 15" laptop screen, between FHD and higher res (QHD/4K) ?
And if you can notice the difference can you fully appreciate it, factoring in extra cost ?
And is the hit to FPS worth it ?

Me, I am fine with a nice qual FHD laptop screen, higher res external screens absolutely.

Also, 3070ti laptop bargains at sub$2000 are MUCH better value than these new laptops.

This is a bit expensive, but good value I think.. If it drops $300 I might pull the pin.

Review isn't terrible, though it's not the exact laptop..
