It never ceases to amaze me how much oral b brush heads go for. Even at these prices it would be cheaper to buy the Colgate brush and heads after a year or two

If you want to save even more money you can use your finger and some toothpaste.

      • +1

I save that for the one night stands

My finger is too smelly in this instance

Slightly cheaper sub and save at amazon per brush head for the cross action black 3 pack for any prime members like myself who want delivery and are too lazy not to support bezos.

  • Ordered a single 2-pack of the charcoal ones. Not sure why, but I did anyway. :p

  • what brushes do you guys use? After researching for quite a while I settled on Oral B Genius X for $130 (after $70 cheddar sign-up) from chemist warehouse today. My wife's giving me grief over spending this much on a brush. Please tell me I made a wise choice here

Great choice on the brush.. not so much the wife

Floss action - for me it's the cleanest of them all. Mileage may differ depending on your teeth and gum conditions so you might want to try variations.

My dentist told me to only use gum care as it’s the most gentle on your teeth. However if you have a gentle brushing technique I’m sure the others are OK too.

      • My dentist told me these are no better than using a regular soft toothbrush, although I've never used one of these before to personally comment on this.
        What have you all found?

        • My teeth are far cleaner since. Plaque build up much slower. When I go to the dentist with minimal flosses in between visits (I am bad) they say my teeth are very clean.

So clearly there is some benefit.

          • @Nuggets: Fair enough, I floss each day but perhaps it's still worth it.
            Thanks for the reply :)

    • Get a Philips Sonicare and you'll never use anything else

I bought the el cheapo knock off's from amazon and they do exactly the same thing, highly recommend.

    • I bought the generic brand from Woolworths some time ago, they worked fine for a few days, but then the head stopped rotating with anything other than extremely light pressure. Never bought them again.

I had the same issue there, then got recommended the amazon ones, they're very decent, and because they're very cheap, I replace them more often, hence better for the teeth.

    • I thought the cheap ones did the job for years, but i compared the original brand ones to the cheap ones and under tiny pressure the cheap ones basically stopped rotating where the oral b ones still cleaned heaps. I'm not exactly sure what the cheap ones were doing for me this whole time

  • AlDi promote their machine as comparable with OralB. Can one use Aldi heads on an Oral B machine?

    • I just bought a pack of brush refills as they said "now Oral B compatible". Bristles were stiffer than Oral B's but they are indeed compatible…

  • Ain't nothing quite like finding them in-stock for C&C near me then having the order cancelled the next morning :,)

  • You don't have to floss all your teeth, just the ones you want to keep….

  • Order was cancelled yesterday
