Only slight deal, but more a post that it's finally available (i've been waiting about 4 months for it to be available).

A friend of mine got sent one of these to test and he's amazed by how good it is for its price.

Some big positives for my needs are:

• POE
• Not being on Wifi (i try to minimise whats on my wifi) - There is also a wifi model if you need it
• No batteries (with the exception of remotes, phones and laptops, i'm trying to make a battery free household)
• Works well with home assistant

like i said, not a massive discount, but I managed to get $5.40 off using code asau3f53 (found via honey). But the bigger deal about this product is they actually finally have some in stock. (bringing it down to $174.59)

Plenty of positive youtube reviews out there of these.

  No tracking info yet….i know i havent given them much time, but i'm going to keep a watchful eye as these did sell out pretty quickly for something that wasn't on sale

      Just got an update from Aus post:

      "Contact sender
      Most recent update
      Attempted delivery - Incorrect address on item"

      I re-checked the address from my order, i gave the correct address, and i've been here at the property all day….looks like a mixup on either reolink or auspost's part
      Have to contact reolink support to fix it

        Received it. Box looks a bit beat up, but everything inside seems in good condition. Will be testing it over the weekend

            @swampson: Installed the PoE version today and connected it with the NVR. The quality is good and the chime works well.

            The only issue I am facing is that it does not notify me via the app if someone has rang the doorbell. This seems to be an issue that others are facing as well.

              @sammysamsam: I have US version PoE version no issues with alerts.
              However I run my doorbell standalone with Poe adapter and use ONVIF for NVR recording this way I get more flexibility for Home assistant automation, Google integration, etc.

                @ozultimate: Hmmm, I am not the most technical. All my cameras and the doorbell were directly connected to the rln8-410 NVR directly.

                How hard would it be for me to change my current set up to what you have? I use Google extensively and would be good to have it integrated.

                  @sammysamsam: You need to find way to power door bell and connect to your LAN Either by Poe injector or Poe switch (future proof)
                  Also need to have spare LAN port.
                  Eg:
                  TP-Link-TL-POE150S-PoE-Injector-Adapter.

  Really unlikely but if anyone bought one they no longer want I'd be keen to take it off your hands. Signed for updates, never got notified and missed this deal before it was out of stock.

  yeah i am looking at buying one too. Just bought the RLA 833 cameras and really impressed. Now want to buy the door bell and NVR
