Lacoste Sneakers Trainers

Bought a couple of pairs of Lacoste trainers from Myer on a recent sale was cheaper than currently are now but maybe been cheaper in past.

I got the Graduate BL21 Sneakers White/Navy and the Graduate Pro Sneaker in Black

You look at the reviews and they say great trainers and great fit etc etc.

I’m a size 9 uk size au size 43 euro or usa 10 whatever size you want to select never been smaller or bigger.
As it was an online deal and I was not near a store I order these pairs and took them home tried on today.
Man are these made small it’s like my whole roof is squashed in there from toes right down to heals is this normal.

My feet are nine and I don’t class them as wide but this feels like it’s not possible right sizing but clearly says it is.

I just don’t know who has purchased these in past and was perfect.
I wonder if they will loosen over time obviously due to their cost i don’t want to hope or think they get better and end up hurting my feet or become uncomfortable over time.

But I see no half sizes and have never been a size 10 in any foot wear.

The graduate pro ones seems a better fit still a little tight but way better but I think could wear them but ain’t these all same sizing buy one pair all fits?

Have any of you guys purchased these brands lacoste brands before and thought they was small did a bigger size make a difference or was they just not suitable.

    Lacoste is a fashion brand.

If you want comfort, support and a perfect fit then buy ASICS or new balance if you're over 40.

It's like buying an expensive Tommy Hilfiger watch. It's just junk with an established branded logo.

    • new balance if you're over 40

Look, they match my jorts, OK

      • And my walking socks

    • It's just junk with an established branded logo.

Its not a junk if it has an established branded logo.

  • thought they was small did a bigger size make a difference or was they just not suitable.

Well obviously they'll fit for some people, not all. They're not gonna make sneakers that fit nobody.

Return them, get the next size up. See if you can try a pair on in store somewhere, doesn't have to be Myer.

I can understand that and have had many branded trainers of the years thought I treat myself to few pairs as been a while but if your the sizes they state then should be right size now i wil need to drive a 60km return trip to try on and possibly get next size up.
But surely I’m not a size 10 as never have been.

Yes I’m past when buying such thing’s normally try on in store see how they look on and fit and walk away with them but this time I purchased online and picked up in store obviously crazy they are not true to size.
Even just read somewhere a person got similar pair and as he had same ones already got same ones but complained they was more narrow and laces even shorter.

Crazy you can’t buy stuff these days online and are true fit I have another pairs coming from various retailers and I have a feeling this is going to get messy.
Loads spent on trainers with weird sizing as said never been issue in past and my feet are not odd sized just the idiots who make these brands.

  • It's pain but just return them.
If you can't go instore, just message them online, ring up or post it back?

    • Yes a pain alright I try them on in store a bigger size up if not happy I just get a refund but nothing online tells you to go a size up. You would think if their sizing is off they would say so.

Buying online is always off - even when you follow their size guide.
I like The Iconic for free returns. That way I can buy a couple of sizes and return one via post.
I'm also a Myer One Gold member, so I get free postage to me. So I order a couple of pairs and return one instore.

        • How do you become gold member im a member but no idea what it is.

Best bet would be for me to check they have bigger sizes in my nearest store and see if they are better if not just ask for full refund and just forget about them.
I wanted some nice more dressed up look sneakers so grabbed them.

Have never purchased from iconic and these ones I got from from Myer where on offer and now back up to full price so not sure if bigger sizes if are not better if I be able to pick something different but same sort of full price value.
The black pair different Lacoste named ones seems a better fit to the point they could be keeping them but i would like to try bigger size to see.
But the other pair just feel they are a size down in size.
You would think at least there sizes would be same just different styles or colours etc.

I have just ordered two Tommy Hilfiger ones on a deal somewhere and I have no idea what sizes are like on them if small of normal.
And they are being delivered so if they are small made im buggered and I just purchased two pairs from another online store ck ones again no idea if small made as well.

I only order my size as I’m size 9 never been bigger on any types.

So 6 pairs of trainers I have just purchased 2 Lacoste, 2 Hilfiger and 2 ck ones and already the Myer ones I have issues with.

What happened to the days you could order a pair of trainers and they was perfect are people getting little feet these days.

I don’t class my feet big or wide so it’s crazy they make a size you wear smaller

          • @bwatt72: If you spend more than $6,000 a year at Myer and keep scanning your Myer One card, you will instantly become a gold member.
It's worth it for me. Free shipping on everything.
I also get double benefits. $20 for my birthday instead of $10 for silver members.
It was easy for me to do, as I bought furniture and mattresses and kitchen appliances many years ago when I bought my house. Also nice handbags when they used to have them.

I would stick to comfy shoes, and suggest you try out The Iconic. Very fast shipping - as they have a Sydney warehouse and I am in Sydney. Free returns is the best as well, and they sometimes have 40% off Adidas.

I always stick to the same brands I like. Hush Puppies, Adidas, Nike, Puma white sneakers which go with everything. As long as they are comfy!

Try and refund them. See how you go with the other brands you ordered however, I find designer shoes too hard and too slim and too uncomfortable.

I also buy from Shoe Warehouse and Insport, so have a look at those.

Yes. I have 3 pairs of Lacoste shoes right now. All bought on 'discount'.

thought they was small did a bigger size make a difference or was they just not suitable.

I'm US13 (narrow chicken feet) and their shoes have fit me quite well.

    • I don’t class my feet as big or small never had issues with sizing in buying sneakers ever snd fancied something different.

These Myer ones sure are small made.

I have Hilfiger ones coming x2 and ck ones x 2 I bet they are all same a size 9 is just that no need to make stuff smaller

  • I've tried on Lacoste sneakers - couldn't tell you the style name, just that they were white leather - and my normal size felt too small while the next size up felt too big. I think their sizes are just weird.

Weird all right I just feel as these named sneakers I have just ordered are not going to end well.if Lacoste Is anything to go by.
The white pair of mine is way tighter than the black pair.
I know i could get the white pair in next size up but means driving to store to do so which is a pain the black pair is a better fit but are they my prefect fit I’m just not sure.
The black pair I’m sure was available in all sizes when I ordered mine now all sold out so I can’t even try a bigger size on of them to compare.

I believe white pair of next size up if make no difference or is too big looks like I had to get refunded on them.
I just need to convince myself if the black is good to keep or it’s just a bit on the smaller side.

If this is the hassle I have with Lacoste god knows how I will get on with Tommy Hilfiger ones and ck ones both of which are ordered online and getting delivered no stores had them to try on etc.
