Nexus 7 16GB, $300 AUD from Office Works, Price Matched JB Hi-Fi at $317

Moved to Forum: Original Link

hi oz bargainers, first post here.

just wanted to share a good price that I got on a nexus 7 16 gb this evening. I went to jbhifi Wollongong to get it but they were all sold out. Went to office works and they had one last box remaining. I told them that jbhifi is offering it for $317 whereas you have it listed for 319. They reduced it to 317 and on top of that offered me a 5% discount instantly. The total came out to be 300 or $301. I'm very happy and feeling Lucky!
grab it while you can :-)

PS: comes with $25 Google credit.

Not a bargain if we don't get the $25 google play credit

    • forgot to add that, it comes with Google credit. edited above.

    • I am pretty sure they all do, it comes on the device straight from the factory and the retailer is irrelevant (Though I could be wrong).

  • Should of got it price matched with Good Guys instead, $312.

Dear IT pricing inquiry, I would like to introduce you to the $199 and $249 Google Nexus. oh, sorry, you are in Australia? Well we hear that you guys have more juicy wallets than your American or European cousins, so despite your favourable exchange rate you get to pay $50 MORE!

ahahahaha buy google shares then die.

i think its a bargain if people are looking for a nexus7. No one else is beating that price

  • Please change title to indicate JB's/Good guy's price, which is the price, then people can try OW for a price match. Problem with PM bargains is that OW can change their price to same or $1 lower and then this price match bargain goes away. So then its not a bargain.

Moved to forum as OP also said they only had one left which he bought.

  • I reckon you'd have better luck trying to pricematch Topbuy @ $289.95 (+ $9.95 postage)

It's a grey import though so you may have a bit of trouble getting it pricematched. According to whirlpool someone has managed a pricematch against Topbuy, bringing it down to $275 for local stock- which is an insane price.

Otherwise, if you don't mind you can just buy the grey import Nexus7 anyway.

  • price updated. deal over

  • BingLee can do $299 with no problem. And local store (Mona Vale) has stocks.
