      I am unfamiliar with the Renpho app, but have found an app called Openscale which I will use to avoid privacy intrusive apps that may also be contain malware.

    When you compare it to your own data each week and when taken around the same time of day/night and similar conditions (post nightly meal/toilet) - it does give a pretty good idea on your progress.

    Saying that you can smash 2l of water and jump back on to see very different results 2 minutes after the last weigh in.

    I'm the opposite, these batteries last for ages and are at least replaceable. Eneloops cover you for a whole year!
