Samsung trade in for Watch

I have a Samsung Smartwatch that was buggy but working. I opted to trade in for a Watch 5, with a $55 credit plus bonus credit. The watch was ordered last week and should be dispatched soon.
Now suddenly the watch won't turn back on…
Any advice for what to do in this situation?
Do I need to cancel the order (and trade in?)
I heard now they have new penalties?

Have you tried a force restart? Hold down both the buttons for 5-10 seconds or until you feel the vibration?

Does it charge? Or show up on Galaxy Wearable?

    • Nope none of those worked sadly… might be dead now

  • might just be your charging cable that is faulty?

    • Good call - but Partner has one too, and both chargers work for their watch

I'd send it in any way. It was working when you packaged it!! I hate Asurian after the recent headache they gave me when preordering the recent s23u.

  • Is it a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic? If so, there was a known problem firmware update that would prevent the watch from turning back on the first time it is manually restarted after the successful update.

Take it to a Samsung store or do the warranty online, it'll need to be sent off but mine took only 3 days total to arrive back at my door after dropping it at a store (Chadstone, VIC).

    • Actually an Active 2 - today it mysteriously turned on… after 3 days of not
