if you really want to cheapen out, and have a reliable backup, maybe one of the second hand ones on fb marketplace?
I dont think I'd bother with cheapest, but good quality if you value your data
Don't wait, every day you delay, is one day closer to lost data
You should always have a spare disk you can backup your data too anyway.
Is there any brand/model that you are after? Last month's deal on 4TB WD Red Plus — $112.88 delivered from Amazon US. Right now it's $124.23 which I guess is not too bad either.
