Looking to get a business email account and was considering Google Workspace as one of the options. Just checking if there is an Ozbargain way of doing it.

I'm a Google Partner. This applies to Workspaces.
From what I've read it's going to be 20% more per user per month, but there's also a annual subscription that's basically the old price but pay 12 months in advance. Same price increase for AU customers?
They're not 100% clear on everything yet. I think Google AU are still trying to work it out themselves. The figures I've got so far (converted from US$, ex GST) is $10.08 for Business Starter and $20.16 for Business Standard under the flexible plan. The annual/fixed term will be increasing for new customers too.
The downside of fixed commitments is that if you commit to 200 users for 12 months and need to increase that to 220 during the period it becomes messy.
Updated pricing will go into effect in phases for both new and existing customers:
- For new subscriptions, updated pricing will go into effect starting April 11, 2023.
- For existing subscriptions, price changes will take effect between April 11, 2023, and January 2024—depending on plan type, number of users, and any discounts customers may have.
- Existing customers with an Annual/Fixed-Term commitment plan will not be subject to price changes for the duration of their subscription.
Just a FYI that Google are raising prices from April so it's about to get a whole lot more expensive.
