beat me to it,
get a professional but i remember when the person came he broke a but and burnt it. abestesto had a certain burning feature. think it was hard to burn and burned blue.
get a pro if u are worried

No one can confirm from one photo and you shouldn't take any random person's word for it either.

i am in VIC and i get Identifibre in oakleigh to do the test for me.
it was only $70 per sample from memory

I got Enviroscience to do mine - $160 for two samples (in 2018)
apparently you can get asbestos kits many places for cheap.

Could be, might be. Can’t tell from a picture on the internet. Anyone who tells you it’s definitely not asbestos is talking out their butt.
