Qantas Classic Reward Flight to China via China Eastern

Dear OzBargainer,

With over 1mil qff pts in my account, I am looking to book a reward flight to China late this year. Someone posted in Finder.com.au that massive China Eastern reward flight (Business/First class) to China were released in January 2023 with screenshots but I tried all the way I can to search for these flights from July 2023 to Mar 2024 but no such flight has ever popped up (only flights available with Cathy Pacific or Qantas). Has anyone else had the same experience or just all China Eastern flight were sold out?

    I remember that thread and checked it out myself. Plenty on the day. When I went back to check again a few weeks ago, there was, and still remains, zero availability. It is possible that China Eastern have not yet released more seats which is why it remains this way. Just like you, I've been wanting to spend my QFF points, not as much as yours but still a very healthy amount, and I am struggling to do so. It's absolutely rubbish across the board.

      I initially tried a week after the thread and nothing found. Feel like China eastern take the reward flight off again after release

        Erm no. You're a week late to a sale and missed out. Next time get in early - especially with many people trying to spend their points hoard accumulated during covid, there's not much to be found in J or F on popular routes, especially if you're lacking booking status.
