Boost Mobile Cash Back

Boost cash back deals seem to be one of the most common deals on ozbargain. It leads to the question, what exactly would be the point of this for boost or cashrewards/shopback. There may be those who are attracted by the deal and decide to continue their plan with boost which is what I'd expect would be the main reason but in reality, from what comments seem to say, there are loads of people such as the ones on ozbargain who simply enjoy a month of free sim AND on top of that free money. Does anyone have any theories as to what possible gains boost could get from this?

  • There may be those who are attracted by the deal and decide to continue their plan…

Cashrewards has a larger audience than just OzBargain…

    • Do you have an ms paint Venn diagram of that?
      .

      • Wasn't ms paint acquired by hellopam… New joint venture screensaver?

  • Pull new users from both sides. It is still relatively cheap when you compare it with the cost of "refer a friend" ($20 to $40).

    • +1

Either way it's only $20/$40 credit against the nominal service charge.. sure someone will have numbers for what a $45 SIM plan actually costs them…

  • sim slutting i.e. ubereats, doordash benefits

  • I have no idea but I'm really enjoying the free sim and data.

  • I use the boost monthly disposable sim for data for my dash cam.
I plug it in to my CM100LTE Blackvue dashcam module so that I could upload footage to the cloud live
as well as get alerted 24/7 when my car is parked at a public car park 8hrs a day. I get to see the live number plates of people bumping on to my car.
