PlayStation VR2 Issue

Hey Crew,
Need some help.

I picked up a VR2 a couple of days ago and for some reason every time I go into play a game it won’t go into VR mode.

I have GT7 and Horizon and select to play these games while wearing the headset but when it loads into the game I can’t select anything and need to turn on the standard controller to play the game and then the VR2 left and right controllers won’t work. I can see the game in the headset but the VR2 controllers don’t do anything but are powered on.

I know the left and right VR2 hand controllers are synced because I can select or change anything, but when I open the game they don’t work.

I have a feeling I need to do something really simple to change a setting to play in VR mode but can’t seem to work it out.

Any help would be great.

    I've heard online of a few people with this issue, I think turning the controllers on while in the game helped - if not I'd have a look on Reddit or the 'PSVR Without Parole' discord.
    That said, GT7 doesn't use the sense controllers (just the standard dualsense or a wheel) and only goes into VR mode when the race start countdown is on - the menus are just in theatre mode.

    Just to confirm - within Horizon, the Headset and the controllers don't work?

    If the headset and controllers work in Horizon, then I'd say it's an issue for the other games. I play GT7 with the VR2 and indeed use controller to navigate the menu. VR only kicks in once the race starts.

      If I’m wearing the headset and left and right hand controller I can operate to load up Horizon but when it goes into the Horizon game menu the dualsense controller is the only way to move around the menu and then playing the game.

      Hope that makes sense.

    Don’t forget to be looking straight ahead as you exit the pit lane so your view is pointed in the right direction!

      I did that when installing it. I might uninstall it and start over again. It’s annoying!!!
