Such a weird promo, they give you the points to book the flights but that's no guarantee there will be award space.

Yup, if the winner cannot find seats then they would just ask them to take the trip on google maps

  • Not sure how these work, the terms and conditions say it is not a game of chance but a game of skill. Entries closed at 7:45am today and the winner was announced 1 hour later.. congrats to them but the winner's 25 words or less were about as unoriginal as you can get.. "married for 25 years, several kids later, wife deserves a honeymoon" or words to that effect. Is it truly not a game of chance? as in, a team of people look at every single one of the potential thousands of submissions and pick their favourite? or is there some level of random shortlisting of the submissions so they only need to judge a hundred or so?

This is from the Terms and Conditions:
"Game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the Winner.
Judging will take place by the Promoter at 1 Denison Street, North Sydney, NSW
2060 on 24/03/23 from 7:50am AEDT. The Winner will be the Entrant who has
most creatively answered the promotional question."

So according to this, the promoter judged hundreds, if not thousands of entrants in 1 hour and picked "married for 25 years, several kids later, wife deserves a honeymoon" as the most creative answer with chance playing no part.. calling bullshit on that.
