Highland Queen Scotch Whisky has been blended in Scotland for over one hundred years. A judicious blend of well matured classic malts and selected grain whiskies, carefully chosen to produce a distinctive and smooth Scotch Whisky, guaranteed by the family for its quality and consistency.

  • A sweet and clean blend with hints of honey, apples and toffee
  • Blend of about 40 percent ABV
  • Also a liquorice taste present at the back of the palate
  • Country of Origin: United Kingdom

I don't have high hopes for the taste.

  • Cheaper than red label?

    • Johnnie Walker Red Label Scotch Whisky 700ml https://amzn.asia/d/6lJcIJm

By about $6, but red label is much better reviewed

Red label is a horrible drink already…

    how bad can it be….

      • A complex flavor profile, that not may be to everyone's taste

    • +3

At this price point, it's like $25 of tax, $1 for the bottle, $1 to ship it Aus, $2 for the distributor, $1 to get it to a store, $4 for the store to sell it, so the stuff inside was produced, aged and bottled for $2.

      • You’re underestimating the tax.

        3.27 is gst.

        $97.9/litre of alcohol makes 97.9 * 40% * 700ml = $27.41 booze tax.

So more than $30 in taxes.

  • OOS

  • I think it's always this price. I dare not drink it

Monkey shoulder is much better around this price. not now have to wait.

    • +1

$59 isn't $36. Odd comparison but far better entry level whisky

      • Have special from time to time. Have to wait for the right moment

If I pay $59 would expect something like green label

        • Only cb gets it lower. $59 is special price

  • Bought last time same price, Not smooth.

  • If they need to pretend it's 100 years by adding up the separate ages of the components, then you know it's got to be horribly horribly bad. Seriously, who markets that way? It fools nobody.
