are people really ok with making comments just because they are ignorant themselves?

      • +2

        Looks at Twitter/Facebook/Social media… Yes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

      • You must not have heard of Reddit.

    • Ok, the people have voted overwhelmingly against my comment so I placed an order for the TV. I mean, it's only $2.3k, what could go wrong? (gulp)

You really have nothing to fear, other than you bought an lg. Never again for me!

      • Pretty well known place. Sorry you live under a rock..

        • I can't say that my opinion is them is positive after my first attempt at ordering from them 😜

          • @smokenmirraz: Then cancel your order/don't order from them and skip the deal?

  • +2

Here I thought I was getting a good deal paying 3k for c1 18 months ago

No one can keep up the technology 😂 and Time for an upgrade?

    Nice find op.

This is usually like the bottom price for 65c (non cs) series sets in a gen, be interesting to see where the bottom is this time. I personally don't think you can go wrong at this price but may get lower.

  • Hmmm…last one left. Not gonna last long.

    • Says quantity 11 available

    • That’s just the eBay’s subtitle when a seller list an item in a listing. It’s harmless. The real info is the >10 units available

      • Oh, my bad. Bit misleading, but ok.

    • Lasted long enough for the 28 Degrees price protection insurance evidentiary screenshot :-)

  • Just spent about 45 minutes with eBay support trying to buy this. Signed up for eBay plus just to order it and then every time I tried to checkout I got an error "Something went wrong. Please try again".

Even with the $172 delivery to Hobart, it's still the cheapest I've seen.

      45 is good

      • +1

Might be good, but was still so painful trying to explain over and over that I wasn't paying with anything, because I couldn't get past the cart page. "Was it paypal or credit card?" "Neither, I cannot get to that page". "Could you remove your cards and try again". "Is it a new credit card you're paying with?"

          You brought the memories back

No worries @SBOB, thanks for posting.

Express delivery to get it before Easter Hols would be good .

This is one hell of a TV for that price…

Still waiting for 77" to come down

    • +1

yup if the 77" gets priced at 3k or below im in!

  • Awesome! Was just recently disappointed I missed some other great deals past few months. Plus it's my birthday in the morning so a solid excuse :).

    • Order unfortunately cancelled and refunded this morning.

  • Wonder if JBHF and TGG will price match after the code applied.

    • Nah don’t reckon they will with codes. Worth asking tho!

    • +1

JB matched VideoPro for $2550 incl delivery for me. You might get them close to $2400. I asked online it was a very straight forward process.

  • 3 series coming out any second.

    • +2

Yeah and with no way to disable auto brightness dimming (ABSL) via the service menu.

      • What.. really? I didnt hear anything about that. If they have genuinely blocked that then thats a huge issue for a lot of people. There maybe a code people will find in the future to disable it though. Still that will stop me from getting any LG OLEDs if it cant be changed.

  • Looks like the eBay listing has ended. Good luck to all those who ordered the tv, myself included 😁

  • good price, the CS (G1 panel, G2 guts) is going for this

    • +1

Yep I'm slightly annoyed i just picked up my CS 65" for this price. Apparently some of the CS have C2 panels, Mine unfortunately has the C1 panel, but I cant complain the image is good.

      • where did you see this? can't find any real info - Lots on the C1 having the newer EVO panels though

        • +1

I'll have to dig deep and see if i can find the thread where it was noted some CS OLEDs have the C2 panel when going into the service menu. And looking at some number on the box if it ended in a P or a Q related to which panel it had (C1 or C2 panel). Unfortunately mine is a C1 panel. If I can find the thread again I'll make sure to post it.

Just checked eBay and they've cancelled and refunded my order allegedly due to being out of stock.

    • Same here. So sad.

  • Damn, just got order cancellation as well :/

    • +2

So bs, they should have an option to wait for stock to come back

I’m sure they are pretending there no stock atm, and they will bring it back in stock in a few days at full price.

  • +1

Just got an email about the order being cancelled due to out of stock. Very annoying after the effort of trying to get it ordered in the first place, and apparently being the 3rd one to be sold on that listing.

  • +3

    Order cancelled :(

Ain’t no way I’m buying from them again and not paying less than what we paid here anywhere else

  • Order cancelled
