I think Amazon just collates all the reviews from around the world including reviews from 3rd party sellers. I didn't look at all the bad reviews (sorry waiting for toddler in the car) but the first ones I saw were from India. Are they the ones you are talking about?
I would say you're safe with just about anything you buy from Amazon AU directly.
FYI. My midwife recommended the moisturising cream over the lotion. Their reason was the lotion is pretty much a watered down version of the cream.

Seems like a good price but we are currently using Aveeno and still have a few bottles. Would have to convince the OH and I don't have the energy for it right now. Maybe when we are low on stock I'll have another look. It does look like this may be the new regular sale price.
