For those who are interested, Mondelez International (the current owners of Toblerone), will be moving parts of their production to Slovakia in July. As a result of this action (under Swiss law), they will lose the ability to use the Matterhorn graphic on the packaging. Nothing against Slovakia (it's a beautiful place and I enjoyed spending some time there a few years back) but, damn it, I want my Swiss chocolate. Time to stock up.
According to Hansi’s link below, Larger, 100-gram "tablets" will still be produced in Bern, the Swiss capital, the company says.
Thanks for the update. I read an article about the change a couple of weeks back but there was no mention of limiting it to particular sizes so I'm glad to hear they will be going down that path. I only ever get the 360g block when it hits my price-point of $6.

It's actually too sweet these days, can't handle it.
I used to get one every Christmas growing up and I am pretty sure this move will be the latest in a litany of changes mostly for the worse. Toblerone now is so waxy and sweet that it doesn't wring a feeling of nostalgia from me. Though it could be the years of coffee and making desserts myself altering my tastes, I would like to see the toblerone bill of materials of 30 years ago compared with today's version.
At this price I can afford to cover the entire boundary rope.
