Its a local store, did you complain, if they are fake it can be reported to ACCC or something right?
Didn't bother to, they were only $12 if I remember right, so basically, you get what you pay for. I was keen because I have had a real Fila sunnies (Made in Italy), they were fantastic and I expected a slimier or close quality. The ones I got were rubbish!
ACCC, OFT won't do anything unless you can prove to them they are fake. You can take them to a sunglass store and even though they'll tell you it's fake they won't give you anything in writing. You can also contact the licence holders of FILA. If they are in another country then best of luck trying to contact them and getting the glasses to them for inspection. If they are in Australia then you might get some response.
Even if you do prove these are fake then all COTD will get is a slap on it's wrist and a warning to not sell fake products again.

I reckon the ones from Hallenstein Bros for $10 NZD are better, which are around $7.5 AUD and you get free and quick shipping.
Just a word of warning, I bought "FILA" branded sunglasses from COTD in the past and they were definitely FAKE, low quality in every possible aspect.
