Honest and Reliable US Forwarding Address Service

I'm looking at purchasing some products online however the store has really really expensive shipping to Australia. We're talking like $35 AUD to ship ONE CD and if I add an extra CD, that price jumps to $61 AUD for the two CDs and this is just the shipping cost… Ridiculous!

I'm got a plan though. The store offers free domestic shipping if I order over a certain amount so I plan on purchasing enough products to qualify. Now if I can get this all sent to a forwarding service that can open the parcels and repack them into one and then ship to my Australian address, that should save me a bunch of money (hopefully).

Could anyone recommend a service and provide your experience?

Thank you

Edit: Would be good if the service includes some sort of insurance in case things go wrong or at least has a decent customer support team that is willing to mend errors should they occur.

  • Stackry is the best . But believe me they charge you to the bone . You need pricey goods to make it worth while.
The others is like playing a mine field .

    • What's your opinion on Planet Express or ReShip?

      • Part of the mine field , Research well . I will add with many you can't hide from GST . Buying direct most of my goods escape that .

      • Planet Express? Wow, a delivery company named after a fictional delivery company

  • rare cds? just looked at amazon.com for some cds and it shows 10 usd shipping.

    • CDs that are currently only available from the artist

      • +1

ahh i see.. hand back ur ozbargain membership card sir. we wait until cds are avail on amazon so they are cheaper then buy. seriously though good that u support them artists.

        • They certainly know how to rake in the $$$$$$$$$ with concerts and merchandise from this country . No shortage flowing to them with all the pent up demand. ,

  • Yes it's a sh*tfest these days buying stuff online from Merrrka.
The choices to ship/post ex USA nowadays are (a) way expensive, (b) exorbitant and (c) totally unaffordable.
It would cost $100 US to ship a split pea. So much for our greatest ally. Not sure which govt nailed a FTA with them , but it seems to be mono-beneficial, to me. Given we sacrificed our arse over AUKUS we should be singled out as a preferred destination( willing target) and get mates rates. Prices to ship have def grown WELL BEYOND any AUD Vs USD difference. Someone is creaming it.
To the point many AU shoppers just don't bother any more.
Surely we should be able to lob US imports at Darwin via the B52 fleet coming in, and pay APOst rates beyond that?
