  I bought the 250gb version when it was posted here for $19 from Centercom and after a minute or two of copying files the write speed always goes down to ~20MB/s which is pathetically slow.

  The drive itself is really small, about the size of 2x SD cards and weighs about the same too.

      This SSD 66 x 40mm. Standard SD 32 x 24mm. About 3.5 times the size of a standard SD card.

    Thanks for posting that. This is the 250GB one yeah? Does yours throttle down to around 20MB/s after copying around 20GB into a 50GB+ transfer?

    I'm considering doing an RMA for mine that does throttle down but the petrol cost to go back to the shop kills the deal.
