paid $5900 a year ago - well worth it.

great quality set hasnt missed a beat.

    • +11

What? Means price has gone down only $50?

      • +3

Indeed. I'm surprised stock is even available for this model given its age.

$5.8k still a big hefty price for a nearly 3 year old model, despite the size. The C2 is the better improvement if you wait, or G1 if you're trying to find a good deal.

    • +3

Agreed, if this was the C2 I would be sorely tempted.

This came out in April 2021 so not quite 2 years.

    Too big

      That's what she said

    • It’s how you use it.

  • Anyone got a 77 cs? Is it worth it?

    • Six inches is night and day

    • Just bought one from eBay $3580. 5% code used. It has a C1 screen with C2 tech. All reviews consider it excellent.

Careful with this mob, really hard to get anything sorted if you have issues. Be prepared for a battle.

  • Bought one of these early this week at Harvey Norman. Negotiated down to $5800.

I don't think the C2 is $1000 better, even if you can find stock atm.

I got the C2 83” for $6400 from the Good Guys in December. Simply asked for it at that price

    • +3

That's $550 more than this deal, why is it worth a neg?

      • Because it’s a marginal difference for a superior tv. $5850 is not a bargain for a 2 year old tv

  • +2

Get the 77 G2 for the less.

  • Anyone knows the difference between the C2 & G2?
Did a compare on the LG site and they looked virtually the same.

    • This is a C1. G2 is slightly brighter and can be mounted flush.

  • +4

You guys are talkin like $5800 is nothing for a tv! I’m either poor or you all just don’t gaf about your savings

I'm with you @rbrtsluk… we are definitely in the same social class here.

    • This is Oledistan. TVs havent been hit by inflation like nearly everything else.

    • I paid $5450 for my 77C1 used my tax return of $2.5k and the rest interest free, the wife really likes it and I love it for my PS5 no regrets.it will probably last me 10 years.
