Nice to see the prices coming down

  • In before will it work on a switch. Yes but dont. Buy the extreme or samsung evo plus instead and you can likely get 256GB for this price.

    • 256GB starts at around $38?

My bad. Has been as low as $31.

        Patriot 256GB microsd were $25.25

Good price but I'm concerned if my dashcam even supports that large of a card 😕

    • Sure it will. My 2017 Viofo A119S accepts 128GB cards

  • is it good for the dashcam?

    • +3

I have this exact card in my Viofo dashcam for the last 2 years without a problem.
I know there are better suited cards but this was what I could get quickly at the time and it has worked without a fault.

I'm currently using a Sandisk Ultra for my dashcam, but I've heard that the High Endurance version is specifically designed for continuous use in high-stress recording situations, making it the ideal choice for dashcams. I was not sure if this is a good one. Thank you for your response. I will order one.

      • Strangely the VIOFO Australia website support page has this listed as not recommended but does list the MAX Endurance as recommended, however they do sell them in their shop……

I just got a 64gb max endurance from Bunnings online of all places. Was cheaper than Amazon.

This post is cheaper than Bunnings.

        • For some reason most dashcam manufacturers got beef with Sandisk cards, not sure why

      • I thought High Endurance series was made for monitoring recordings. What else would be better suited for a dashcam?

        • Blackvue recommend the Samsung Pro Endurance if you dont buy their own version

    • it’s good for dash cams. just check if the model has limitations on size and sd card brand, etc

  • Thanks Hamza, been looking for a high-endurance card for my dash cam

  • dang just bought one last week

  • Would this be good for 3DS?

    • As per my comment below you can use this but you can save some money using a samsung evo or sandisk extreme instead.

    • Endurance-type cards are designed for dashcams or surveillance cameras that are constantly writing lots of data (which will quickly wear out regular SD cards).

It's overkill for a 3DS or a Switch — just get a Samsung EVO card instead and save some money and get better performance.

Update: I checked the prices and the Samsung EVO Plus is actually more expensive, lol. But my point about performance stands, it's probably better to get the card with faster read/write performance.

  • Could you use this in phones?

    • +1

You can but you can save some money using a samsung evo or sandisk extreme instead.

  • Thanks, this will go well with the Viofo deal :P

  • Only 5 left, just ordered one.

No more stock - cannot be added to cart.
    It's $23 now.

  • I use the Samsung Pro Endurance 128gb for the viofo a129 pro duo - does about 3 days of recording including parked recording (runs 24/7), the SanDisk cards haven't really lived up to the endurance for me with most lasting 6 months, have also tried the lexar cards too - been using dual dashcam's separately and till the duo came out since about 2014. The Samsung Pro Endurance card has lasted the longest, would have got the 256gb but only the 128gb was available previously, would recommend a 256gb card as long as the dashcam supports it.

    • Which Sandisk models were you using, the High Endurance or Max Endurance?

      • High endurance and have used the normal cards before too (prior to any of the endurance cards coming out)

        • Hmm not good to hear. The Max Emdurance is the higher model (and more expensive), I wonder if that model is as good as Samsung Pro Endurance?

    • I've been using non endurance Lexar 64GB cards in 2 A119 cams for 6 years without issue (guess what's gonna happen now :D) but not running 24/7. From memory the older ones were better quality though.

How long did the non endurance cards last when you used them?

  • Back in stock but only 5 remaining.

    • @tangcla

    • Gone now

  • Just bought the last one at $23

    edit: more in stock now

    • When it was at better price, it was $19.09. It then went up to $23, when that sale price ended. Now the price has gone higher to $25.

  • In stock again.

  • $25.95 now
