    These are probably the best rechargable docks on the market, just dump and run after a session. Only downside is that it's for one controller only, but at least you can colour code them with your setup. I have the red one on my PC desk, but I use the Halo Elite 2 for my Series X

    We purchased the latest X BOX X.

    We needed to buy seperate X BOX rechargeable batteries so we purchased OEM from Microsoft.

    We purchased this charger.

    We then noticed that we cannot simply place our controllers on this for recharge.

    This charger comes with its own batteries.

    It also comes with its own battery cover lids for the X BOX X controller.

    To use this charger, you need to remove the OEM Microsoft rechargeable batteries, and place the batteries that came with this controller.

    You then need to use this chargers battery cover lid.

    The battery that it comes with has exposed terminals on its side.

    The battery cover lid that it came with has a hole in it to expose the battery terminal.

    You then place this on the charger stand for battery contact with the charger stand terminal.

    The quality of the battery is much lower than the MICROSOFT OEM.

    Bear in mind that if you have more than one X BOX controller, this charging stand comes with ONLY one battery. Hence, the expense of this thing is completely troublesome and a complete waste of money. Furthermore, it is hardly cheap.

    The item in this deal comes with the battery pack so it will also work the same way won't it?

    You just but the battery pack inside controller, then use a USB-C cable to plug in at the top and you can charge and play at the same time. But you also have the "option" to put it on the stand sometimes.
