  These guys are great. Used them once in QLD. Beware of the hidden insurance waiver. It's substantial extra cost and if anything goes wrong with the car, even a tiny scratch you'll have to pay a $4000, yes four thousand dollar gap (if you decide not to pay the extra cost for the insurance waiver)

    They shouldn't charge you for a tiny scratch as it is a reasonable wear and tear.
    In any case, it's worth buying travel insurance. You can get it really cheap from Qantas (I found them to be cheaper than InsureandGo and they cover up to $8000 Rental vehicle insurance excess) and then you will be fully covered. For example, 9 days domestic travel insurance from Qantas for 2 adults will be only $114 (and kids will be free).

      Will it be difficult to claim if an accident happens for purchasing a third company's insurance?

      Just thought it would be a peace of mind to buy the rental company insurance
