Best Way to Search for All Rental Property in Sydney

Hello, as is the case for most people in Sydney, I’m finding it hard to secure a decent rental property.

I’ve been using Realestate.com but the problem with it is that you’re unable to see all listings. You have to enter a suburb, and can’t select to view listings which are within a certain distance of that location.

I want to be able to enter, for example, Liverpool and find all properties within 100KM of that location.

Many thanks.

  • Located on Australia's east coast, the metropolis surrounds Sydney Harbour and extends about 70 km (43.5 mi) towards the Blue Mountains to the west, Hawkesbury to the north, the Royal National Park to the south and Macarthur to the south-west.

So a 100km radius may as well just be searching the whole metro area

    • That’s exactly what I’d like to do.

      • Well just search all of NSW and get down to the map view

1408 results in NSW but I'm sure not many get listed on a weekly basis, so you can narrow it down from there

581 results once I zoomed in further on the map

  • Realestateview.com.au is handy too.

  • +2

The Map view option is handy on RealEstate, just move the map to search the area according to your filter.

  • Can you type Greater Liverpool area and see the options that come up? I always found that option eg Greater Brisbane area was a location you could click on

  • Call the real estate agents in the suburb you want to live in and let them know you are looking and leave your details.
